Safeguarding Policy and Procedures

Norfolk Ladies’ County Golf Association has been accredited with SafeGolf from England Golf.

This demonstrates their commitment to ensure that all female participants can thrive in a safe environment and that all children and young people have an enjoyable and positive experience when playing golf.

The below safeguarding policies and supporting procedures set out a framework to fulfil this commitment.

One of the most important ways to do this is to report any concerns you may have to Denise Whiting our Norfolk Welfare Officer to liaise with England Golf who provide a national case management system and one-to-one support with safeguarding cases.

If you have immediate concerns about the welfare of any child or adult, contact the police on 101 or ring the NSPCC 24-hour free helpline on 0808 800 5000.
