Welcome To Norfolk

Norfolk Ladies’ County Golf Association was formed in 1912 to look after the interests of the women and girl members of their affiliated clubs. This includes encouraging new players, training promising golfers and organising county competitions. They are part of the governance structure of England Golf and represent their members’ views and vote on their behalf at general meetings.

They support all of the affiliated clubs in Norfolk and provide advice and help where needed. Under England Golf, they oversee individuals’ handicaps and provide handicap advice to clubs and individuals alike. They also provide scratch score assessments through a course rating team.

A range of competitions and events are available for golfers of all ages and abilities. These competitions are for individuals and teams in a variety of formats including inter-club competitions across the county.

Norfolk Ladies’ County Golf Association has a pathway for aspiring golfers to work with County Coaches and play for teams representing Norfolk in the county, region and nationally. They work hard to make sure that young golfers reach their potential.

As a member of a Norfolk club, you can enjoy a Norfolk County Card scheme enabling members of affiliated Norfolk clubs to play at other clubs across the county at a reduced rate.

Norfolk Ladies’ County Golf Association is the link to the East Region and England Golf, communicating information back to clubs through a team of delegates.
