This year the Executive Committee has Three Vacancies

Elected Member, Treasurer & England Golf Voting Member

We are looking for women who are passionate about golf, have the time to support and develop the game in Norfolk. Meeting seven times a year you will be involved in the planning and running of championships and competitions, discuss England Golf initiatives and support the membership.

County Treasurer

This position is a maximum six-year term and the successful applicant would be responsible for advising the Executive Committee on the financial probity of the Association by managing and monitoring the financial activities of the NLCGA. They would need to prepare and present financial reports and accounts to the Executive Committee on a regular basis and produce the Annual Statement of Accounts for an independent examination before approval by the Executive Committee prior to presenting them at the AGM.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has some book-keeping and/or accounting experience, with strong communication skills, ability to work as part of a team, good IT skills and is able to analyse financial information effectively.

England Golf Voting Member

This post is a four-year term and the successful applicant would play a key role on the Executive Committee, representing the views of the County when voting at Regional and England Golf General Meetings. They should be prepared to travel to these meetings in order to be able to lead and report to the County Executive on matters arising at both Regional and National levels. They will also attend County Executive Meetings, currently running at seven per year. The County holds two Delegates meetings a year which the East Region Representative will organise and Chair, being part of the liaison team between the County and Clubs.

We are looking for someone with sound knowledge of golf and its organisation, have good communication, presentation and listening skills, experience of running competitions and be at ease with IT.

This is a three-year term, enabling you to join in discussions at Committee Meetings and ensure that all decisions taken are in the best interests of the members. We would like you, too, to take part in organising one of our competitions.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, having a broad understanding of the game and wants to become more actively involved. Preferably, we would like someone who has had committee experience in the past but this is not imperative.
