Amelie retains Junior Title

Amelie Marling wins the Junior Championship for the second year running, held at Swaffham on 6th July .

The junior from Barnham Broom golf club had also been part of the winning team of the Ladies East Region trophy which set had her up nicely for this championship.

Playing off a handicap of 2.5 , Amelie shot a 78 win the title, described her round as ‘a game of two halves, where I managed to pull it back on the latter holes’.

Amelie will now go onto the English Girls' County Champion of Champions at Woodhall Spa in September.

Handicap plate was won by Freya Colk from Bawburgh
