Getting Started

Golf is a game for all - whatever your age, background or ability. As well as having fun in the fresh air, golf can help keep you active and healthy.

You can get started by taking advantage of the beginner activities on offer from Get onto golf the campaign run by England Golf and support by Sport England National Lottery funding to get more people golfing.

Equipment will be provided so all you have to do is turn up on the day in comfortable clothing, before you know it you will be out on the course playing golf.

It’s a great game for all the family: mums, dads, children and grandparents can play together and have fun on the course. Playing golf is the ideal way for everybody, from the youngest to the eldest member of the family, to meet up and enjoy one another’s company.
