The NLCGA are looking for someone to take over the role of the Handicap Advisor from Sue Allen.

You will be responsible to the County Executive Committee and the England Golf Regional Handicap Advisor for England Golf.

Your role would be to advise Club Handicap Secretaries and Committees on Rules of Handicapping, Rules of Golf and Terms of Competitions.

Areas of Responsibility

Be fully conversant with the WHS and provide help and support on all matters relating to the handicap system.
Have an understanding of the Rules of Golf and Terms of Competition.
Provide support and training for Club Handicap Secretaries
Be available to visit clubs when asked, attend Handicap Seminars and County Executive Committee meetings when required.

Experience Required

Ability to use information technology and have internet access, An experienced golfer, Good Communications skills, Be willing to travel to visit clubs when necessary and an interest in the Rules of Golf
