Norfolk hosted this years ladies’ County II Finals Day at Barnham Broom Golf Club on Friday 30th August.

Played on a beautiful sunny day it brought together four counties; Bedfordshire, Cambs & Hunts, Essex and Norfolk to play for the final round of the East Region Trophy. Each county played each other resulting in nine single matches per team, all played on the Valley Course, which was in fabulous condition.

Representing Norfolk was:
Eve & Hope Neild, Sammy Martin and Jules Hutchinson from Royal Norwich, Sian Fenn-Green from Swaffham, Clare Anderson from Costessey Park, Beth Buckingham and Maisie Farrelly from Dereham, Jess Rutherford from Gt Yarmouth & Caister and Captain Vanessa Mann from Barnham Broom.

 The girls were on top form and won the day with 5.5 matches, however were unable to beat Essex closely missing out on winning the East Region Trophy and therefore taking over all second position.
