The NLCGA girls’ Autumn meeting was held at Richmond Park Golf Club in which 16 girls played for the Autumn Shield and six pairs played in the 9-hole greensomes competition.

 The 18 holes Stableford produced some excellent scores which saw Middleton Hall junior Poppy Beales taking the Autumn Shield with 43 points, followed by Lucy Partridge also from Middleton Hall with 39 points. Polly Norman from Kings Lynn came third with 39 points and Chloe Tabard from Heacham Manor was fourth on 36 points.

 In the greensomes Barbara Fielden & Farron Jackson from Royal Cromer came out on top with 22 points, runners-up were Peter & Jessica Key.

 Following the competition County junior organiser Carol Delf reported on the year’s events and successes of which there had been many. She said it had been an awesome and amazing year at all levels and all the girls should be proud of their achievements throughout the season. Ellie Brown finished her year as County girls’ captain and will hand over the role to Amelia Williamson in December.
