County Waltz rounds off ladies’ season

The County Waltz a fun competition to rounded off Norfolk Ladies’ season on Friday 27th September at Bawburgh Golf Club

This highly popular event hosted a field of 120 golfers in 30 teams, the winning team with a fabulous 90 points from Barnham Broom was Jill Devlin, Bet Dennett, Linda Asker, Penny Humberston.

It was one of the youngest competitors, twenty two year old Sian who works at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and plays at Swaffham who won the three top prizes. The Greenie Roberts Handicap Salver with Nett 68, E.M.&M. Scratch Salver with gross 74 and Brister Salver with nett 68.

In her acceptance speak Jill Devlin the team captain thanked the organisers and said “This has been a superb day, we had great fun as well as good golf”.
