Sian Fenn Green claims tops three prizes at Norfolk Ladies’ event

On Sunday 15^th September a field of thirty-five played in the Norfolk Ladies’ County Golf Association Medal and Brister salver event on a glorious autumn afternoon at Swaffham Golf Club.

It was one of the youngest competitors, twenty two year old Sian who works at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and plays at Swaffham who won the three top prizes. The Greenie Roberts Handicap Salver with Nett 68, E.M.&M. Scratch Salver with gross 74 and Brister Salver with nett 68.

In her acceptance speak Sian said “I had put a lot of work into preparing for the event so am over the moon that it paid off”. As a consequence of her fabulous round Sian will now be playing off a handicap of 5.

The runner up was Carole Harrisson with a nett 69 from Hunstanton and Jessica Rutherford with a nett 72 ocb from Gt. Yarmouth & Caister in 3^rd place.
