Jasmine Campbell (Royal Norwich) carded a superb gross 75 at Weston Park today to win the Girls Championship from Amelia Williamson (Royal Cromer) on 77.

Jasmine, the current holder of The Abraham Trophy, playing off her handicap of 9, also claimed the Handicap Trophy with a net 66.

Under the Association’s Rules, a player may win two trophies, but only one prize.  Accordingly, the first handicap prize went to Chloe Gibbs, also of Royal Norwich, with a net 71. Chloe Rowswell of Eaton Golf Club was second with net 72, and Amy Taylor of Bawburgh finished third with net 73. All were excellent scores considering the first nine holes were played in the rain!

The Birdie Championship, a Stableford competition for girls with handicaps 25 and over, was won by Hope Nield of Royal Norwich with 34 points, with Emma Bambridge of Richmond Park a close second with 33 points.
